Well, I have found a little known secret…. we can JOIN THE CREEKSIDE TENNIS AND SWIM CLUB! Prices are reasonable, family memberships start at about $800/ year and the pool is fabulous! Featuring a large 25 meter pool with lane lines for lap swimming, Creekside is one of the only pools in the Charleston county with a diving board. Facility includes a large pool deck, 2 shade shelters and a tiki hut you can enjoy your summer pool days in or out of the sun. The tiki hut is a new addition to the Creekside pool. It was built by Creekside’s own men’s club. It has a large bar top area along with music and a flat screen television. The Creekside pool also offers swimming lessons and swim team for kids. Love this pool! Swim team and tennis camp (also reasonably priced) have been great this summer. You can sign up for camp and swim team without being a member.
An even better secret is anyone can use the pool, chaises, and towels at the Charleston Harbor & Marina Hotel with just the cost of a drink or tasty meal at the Reel Bar. No initial fee, no dues, best view in Mt. Pleasant, kids run free and play while the parents eat. Nothing better!
I like the idea of having the option to go to an outdoor pool,but it would be a nice touch to have a public pool in Old Village. (just a thought to dream about, then my life in old village will be complete, ha!) Good to know about Charleston Harbor and Marina hotel, thanks!
