The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry was founded in 2003 by local artist Anne Darby Parker to provide children with a safe place to learn and discover through hands-on experiences and activities. The Children’s Museum is a non-profit organization whose mission is to spark imaginations, stimulate curiosity, and encourage problem solving through the power of play for families of all backgrounds.
