Okay, so let’s admit it, we never spend enough time in our own town until family or friends come for a visit. So yesterday I was reminded (again) why I love living in the wonderful place! The City Market is so much fun and it is looking better than ever! As one of the nation’s oldest public markets, I am thrilled to see such preservation of time-treasured customs and history mixed with new creative ideas by vibrate entrepreneurs. With everything from jewelry, artwork, Charleston spices, clothes, hats, bags, and so much more. Such a fabulous celebration of what makes our town special. And of course, sweet grass baskets and pineapples are everywhere!

Operates daily from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in three open air sheds as well as the Great Hall.
CHARLESTON CITY NIGHT MARKET
Operates from 6:30 – 10:30 p.m. on Friday, and Saturdays during the months of March through December.
