Audubon and The Pitt Street Bridge

Do you like birds?  Want to see one up close?
Our local Audubon biologists at the Sullivan’s Island bird research station have worked with 1,000 birds over the past year! The site includes a banding station where fall migrants are captured and tagged for research that benefits their conservation. The banding station is usually closed to the public for the safety of birds and people, but you can have a chance to visit on Sunday, October 9th from 7am to noon.
Please email Charleston Audubon at chsaudubon@gmail.com to reserve a space. Spaces are limited!
